In case of theft
If your keys are stolen, please report the theft to the nearest police station and file a report
To request compensation, please provide :
- A copy of the police report
- Your Keyfound key fob number
- Your contact details
- Any other relevant information
If the keys are not recovered within 60 days following the theft report, compensation of CHF 200 will be granted in accordance with our general terms and conditions

If the keys remain unfound – which only occurs in 3–4% of cases according to our 40 years of experience – the key fob is replaced free of charge
How does it work ?
If someone finds a set of keys, they simply need to drop them into any mailbox. The postal service then forwards them to our centre, where the keys are identified using their unique code. The owner is informed before receiving their keys by registered mail
